They are standing on a hill in a caravan site, I love his pose, really relaxed. Ive been waiting to include owls and birds of prey in my work, nothing has felt right yet, but there was a sense of waiting in the original picture, waiting for the wind to be right to fly the bird, waiting for it to return with prey.
I may work with this image again as a straight oil painting as i love their poses, but its perfect on the manuscript paper for now.
Had a few sales this week in my etsy shop, very exciting! more new stock in now
